American Girl Welly Wisher Willa

Willa is such a cutie. The Welly Wishers had just been introduced by American Girl in 2016 when as a family we visited New York. Rosie had outgrown her love of dolls so I wandered around the American Girl store on my own and I fell for these little dolls. To bring her home I destroyed her box, but she hasn’t had a great deal of attention since. So here she is ready for a new home. One thing to note is that her arms are quite stiff to move and always have been. Her head and legs are fine.

Willa is 14.5″ tall and is made from hard vinyl. She has pretty hazel eyes with painted lashes and freckles, and a happy smiling mouth showing two little teeth. Her hair is a beautifully applied curly strawberry blonde wig (heading to red) with a side parting, and she still has the original hair ties in.

Willa is wearing a pink T shirt with a hedgehog face printed on and two little ears. Her green skirt is covered in multi coloured hedgehogs and she wears pale pink jersey knickers with white elastic. Her wellies are just lovely with ladybird faces and spots. Her hair tie is made from the same fabric as the T shirt and skirt and features bunny ears. She’s very sweet.
