Make candy floss for your doll!

Have some fun making candy floss for your doll!

You will need:

Cotton wool balls (4 per candy floss)

Pink food colouring

A lolly stick

Craft glue

How to make them:

1    If you can get hold of pink cotton wool balls then great, you can skip this step, but I looked everywhere with no such luck! Put a few drops of pink food colouring into a bowl of water and add the white cotton wool balls. Squeeze excess water and dry in a warm place, taking care not to stain the surface pink!

2    Once totally dry, fluff-up so they aren’t flat.

3    Apply some glue to either side of the lolly stick near the top. Stick one cotton wool ball on each side.

4    Then apply glue to one side of the other two cotton wool balls and stick to the sides of the candy floss. See photo for what you are trying to achieve.

5    Allow to dry and voila, you have a non-sticky, fluffy and dolly candy floss!

You can stick the candy floss to your dolls hand with some Blu Tack or use a clear elastic band. With this doll I was actually able to slot the lolly stick nicely between her fingers.

Tip – experiment with different colours, you could even try a multi-coloured candy floss for added fun.

Be warned, once you’ve given this to one doll, the others will be lining up.

Don’t forget to send us a photo of your doll enjoying her candy floss, just like Gotz Happy Kidz Sophie here. Trying and succeeding in not getting any candy mess on her beautiful Petalina Girl summer dress.
